Christopher m’s designs play out on 20-gauge wire strung with an array of bedazzling beads, some clustered in intricate shapes that represent flora and fauna. A Palm Springs native (he spent a few short stints outside the desert studying at Otis College of Art and Design), jewelry designer Christopher traveled a circuitous road to create his intricately beaded necklaces and a limited collection of earrings. He developed a successful jewelry collection during the mid-’80s that led to diversions into painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed-media art. But to the delight of his many fans, Christopher has returned to bejeweling women. His work is available at various locations throughout the Coachella Valley and range in price from $250 to $450.
