Bernie’s Lounge and Supper Club is just one of the new supper club restaurants to make their mark on an old Palm Springs tradition.

Bernie’s has taken over the space once occupied for many years by Davey’s Hideaway.

Upon entering Bernie’s, you’ll find yourself in a semi- time warp, from the friendly greeting at the door, to the live entertainment belting out Rat Pack favorites, to the signature drinks (Texas Mules) and dishes (Bone Marrow appetizer).

Owners Rand Howell and Geoff McIntosh planned it that way. They believe their custom touches and upscale menu offer a unique change to the traditional version of supper club dining.

“We wanted to create a place where you can expect a movie star to walk in at any moment,” says Howell.

And, in fact, there have been movie star sightings, from Johnny Depp to Lilly Tomlin, both known to casually take up seats at the bar and soak up the unique vibe, along with a bit of old Palm Springs nostalgia.
