Comedian Jerry Lewis brought his entire cast of 20 to perform at the Starlite Room in The Chi Chi on May 25, 1957, in Palm Springs.
His performance followed a press premiere at the Plaza Theatre of his new Paramount picture, The Delicate Delinquent.
Jerry Lewis and Chi Chi owner, Irwin Schuman, coordinated both events with proceeds from tickets sales going to the Community Chest.
