A S I Art·Style·Innovation opens in Palm Springs
Store features unique furnishings, art and home décor from the imaginations of Award-winning designers Larry Abel and Raymond McCallister
Designers Larry Abel and Raymond McCallister today previewed their first retail store, A S I Art•Style•Innovation, on Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. The store features unique furniture, art and home décor from the imaginations of Abel and McCallister, two successful designers known for their innovative events and custom designs for awards show suites and parties including the Oscar, Grammy and Emmy Awards, and high-end clients including Revlon, Shiseido and L’Oreal Paris Cosmetics, Godiva Chocolatier, Piaget and Elle, People and Entertainment Weekly Magazines.
On hand to celebrate and welcome ASI Art•Style•Innovation to the Palm Springs business community were Palm Springs City Council Members Ginny Foat and Rick Hutcheson. The festivities included a $2,000 donation by ASI to AIDS Assistance Program, which was presented to the organization’s executive director, Mark Anton.
Highlights of ASI Art•Style•Innovation’s unique and imaginative furniture line include acrylic Bombay chests and ottomans, and reinvented mid-century furniture such as dinettes and sofas. The line of home décor features a wide variety of creative 2D vases and original bookends, magazine racks and pillows. If clients don’t see exactly what they’re looking for, they can select from a variety of designs and fabrics that can be used to deliver unique pieces reflecting their own personal taste. ASI designs will also be available on-line at www.artstyleinnovation.com and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
Abel & McCallister fell in love with Palm Springs when producing an event for their client, Golfsmith. They purchased a second home in the area quickly thereafter and are looking forward to becoming an integral part of the community through both their residency and their new business venture.
