If only geology in school had been as much fun as the Big Wheel Bike Tours’ Earthquake Canyon Express. The four-hour bicycle ride rolls though the heart of the San Andreas Fault zone, winding through the narrow canyon walls of Box Canyon, and to a grand view of the Salton Sea (the former salt flat that was once the site of Ancient Lake Cahuilla).
