1. LET'S GET IT STARTED

The kickoff cocktail party will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday (Nov. 6) at Hacienda Cantina & Beach Club.

2. FASHION STATEMENT

Have you seen the outfits these pageant people wear? Bought or handmade, it's the desert's best runway show outside of Fashion Week El Paseo. Starts at 8 p.m. at Palm Canyon Theater.

3. TAKING IT TO THE STREETS

Take a stroll down Palm Canyon Drive from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and you'll be greeted by booths, music, food, and more. It's like one-stop shopping. Admission is free for those 21 and older. The entertainment features Frankmusik, pop singer Wrabel, Los Angeles based synth pop band DWNTWN, Ricky Rebel, Not Exactly, and Deadmau5 Tribute. Details: https://pspride.org/festival-info/

4. FOR THE LADIES

The perfect trifecta on Saturday (Nov. 7): Dyke March & Rally, the Third Annual Official Ladies Party and Women's Pride Dance.

5. AWESOME ARENAS

From 6-11 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 7)on Arenas Road, which will be blocked off for the event, you can hit the bars (watch out for long lines) or enjoy live music set up under tented areas. https://pspride.org/event-overview/arenas-block-party/

Plenty of color in the Greater Pride Palm Springs Parade on Nov. 8.

6. PARTY ON

Who says the party stops at midnight? The folks at CCBC Resort in Cathedral City will host an after party from midnight to 4 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 7)

7. DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE

You can almost guarantee that won't happen. The forecast is sunshine and around 80. This is like watching your hometown parade with a lot of rainbows. Starts at 10 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 8) in front of Dish Creative Cuisine. Details: https://pspride.org/parade/

8. MAKE A SPLASH

Take a dip at Hacienda Cantina & Beach Club from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 8). No cover and 21 and over only.

9. MR. T

Watch your dance card fill up quickly from 4-7 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 8) at Alibi Azul.

10. OH OSCAR

This is a regular Sunday happening, but it takes on a new look during Pride Weekend. Stop at Oscar's Cafe & Bar for its Tea Dance from 4 p.m. until it closes. Generally attracts an older crowd, and the music is very much 1970s and '80s, but try and find a spot on the outdoor dancer area.
