Barry Manilow hosts the Desert Paws Courageous Heart Awards Dinner on Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. at Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa (71777 Dinah Shore Dr., Rancho Mirage).
This event honors individuals who take action to help the lives of animals in and around the Coachella Valley. In addition to the awards presentation, the evening includes a silent auction, Desert Paws news announcements by President Lori Kirchner, MD, a four-course gourmet vegan dinner with wine, a no-host bar, and a few surprises. Find out who really made a difference in the lives of our four-legged friends.
Desert Paws encourages people to become more compassionate and kind toward all animals, both domestic and wild. They accomplish this through educational conferences and lectures, and support of the syndicated radio show, Animals Today.
