With the recent opening of Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs, neighboring hotels in Palm Springs are sensing a need to ramp up their space to accommodate more and larger events.

Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs will open a new event space in January 2014 covering more than 4,000 square feet. The space will be able to house business meetings, private receptions, weddings, social gatherings and dinners.

Spanning two floors and featuring a partially covered balcony on the second floor and private patio area on the first floor, the space will be wired for internet access and equipped with the latest audio/visual capabilities.

The first floor space including patio will exceed 1,600 square feet, while the second floor space including the balcony will be nearly 2,500 square feet.

Ace Hotel & Swim Club, which already has seven existing event spaces on its South Palm Springs property, will be able to provide catering for up to 160 guests within the new event space.
