Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert boasts the Southern California desert’s two “must play” courses, Firecliff and Mountain View.

Exclusively during September and October, take on either world-class course anytime after noon in The Gridiron Challenge, a series of casual golf days with on-course contests on the front nine holes.

Kickoff the football season on the links for only $39 per player per challenge date, and enjoy golf, dinner, and football. Price includes green fee and buffet dinner. Tee time availability is subject to change, and includes tax and gratuity.

Highly acclaimed and award-winning, including No.  25 on Golf Week’s Best California Courses List, both Desert Willow layouts feature immaculate greens, manicured fairways, and enough challenges between the two to become known as the gold standard of desert golf.

Firecliff will challenge golfers with a thrill ride through myriad water features, strategically placed bunkers cut into narrow fairways, and pin locations that will have them begging for more.

For golfers seeking a less demanding challenge, Mountain View features ample fairways with enough hazards and traps sprinkled throughout the course to keep them on top of their game.

After testing the course, head back to Desert Willow’s Clubhouse for a dinner buffet and watch the football game on a 10-Foot big screen TV.  Enjoy $3 draft beers and $5 margaritas while taking in some exciting football action.

In addition to thrilling golf and football, Desert Willow will raffle off fantastic prizes throughout the game, so make sure to stay through the final whistle.
