Fashion Week El Paseo’s first children/teen fashion show had the good fortune to have students from Marywood/Palm Valley and Sacred Heart schools as its models. The kids enjoyed activities , refreshments and a fun runway show.

Juan Carlos Obando featured as “Designer of the Week”

It was a fashion show spectacular as Juan Carlos Obando debuted his new collection on the runway of Fashion Week El Paseo. Obando, who won the MAFI/Los Angeles Fashion Award in October, wowed the capacity crowd in the tent with his ethereal designs in a sublime show that was as much a piece of theater as it was fashion history.

Jade Howe shows his men’s Spring collection for 2009

Jade Howe of Howe was the featured designer at Fashion Week El Paseo’s first exclusive men’s fashion show. Howe not only introduced his Spring collection, but also introduced his White Label collection for the first time. Attendees enjoyed the hip energetic show along with wine, hors d’oeuvres and great music. Proceeds from the evening benefited Desert AIDS Project.
