Rancho Mirage Public Libraries favorite local legendary professor, Dr. William Gudelunas, returned once again to a full house at the Library Lecture Series to present United States History from post-WWII to the assassination of JFK.  He was joined by his son, Dr. David Gudelunas of Fairfield University, who also packed the house and discussed the impact media had on these presidential terms.

Topics of the series included President Harry S. Truman and the Miracle of ’48, We Like Ike, Media and Democracy: Presidents, The Press, and Public Opinion; and President Kennedy and the New Frontier.
