Essential Information
Progressive American Cuisine Visiting Arnold Palmer’s Restaurant is like visiting the king of golf in his private club. Stacked stone walls and archways, plank floors, fireplaces in every room and a treasure trove of Palmer’s trophies and personal memorabilia create an authentic atmosphere that is warm, comfortable and classic. In fact, you just might run into Palmer who often relaxes with his wife and friends to watch sports in his newly added private wine room and bar within the restaurant. The menu of American classics and new innovations is the creation of Executive Chef Brett Maddock and offers something for everyone. The Chef’s Creations on the menu change seasonally and include specialty dishes such as Honey-Soy-Glazed Sea Bass and Porcini Raviolis with Black Truffles; the Steakhouse showcases a variety of all-natural, no-hormone beef; and Arnie’s Favorites include comfort food classics such as Beef Stroganoff, Meatloaf with Mashed Potatos and Gravy, or Montgomery Inn BBQ Baby Back Ribs. House made sorbets such as the Mango Mojito and the Strawberry Shortcake bring a fresh innovative taste to the dessert menu. Maddock also created an extensive new menu for Arnie’s Pub that includes Beer-Battered Shrimp Tacos, Ahi Tuna Sashimi Salad, and J.C.’s Homemade Chicken Enchiladas. Each year the restaurant changes out photos and sports memorabilia in order to keep it fresh and interesting for its frequent guests. The restaurant can accommodate events for up to 100 guests both indoors and outdoors. The British Open, U.S. Open, Master’s and the Palmer Rooms can each be closed off for private parties, and the expansive lawn is ideal for outdoor receptions and banquets, complete with seating around the fire pit. Patrons can expect the same warm welcome from charming restaurant manager Dodi Henry and the top-notch service staff, most of whom have been with Arnold Palmer’s since its opening in 2003. Savor Arnold Palmer’s 2005 Reserve Cabernet from the award-winning wine list with more than 300 vintages assembled by Wine Steward Bo Moore.
