Aquarians Carry Wave Energy, Not Water

Sherryl Nova Horoscope

Dogged individualists, Aquarians were the rarest of signs until the early ’60s. Now they proliferate. Dubbed “the water bearer” by the church in the Middle Ages, the inquisitional attitude supported fear and persecution of those who reasoned outside the box. Astrological artwork today features the flowing pitcher of water. Don’t buy it. The ancient Chaldeans depicted Aquarius as a space traveler, complete with air tanks and a glyph of parallel zigzag lines denoting electromagnetic wave energy.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Was that you blogging testily about the latest outrage, passionately making a case for a new way? You’re luck approaches with the advent of one incendiary instigator who can slay dragons, but you can’t do it alone; and futile fuming is unhealthy. Begin to mastermind, behind the scenes, and enjoy new influence.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
From all quadrants they bring their issues and expect that you can solve all. Friendship is intellectual, not emotional. Do not expect slavish devotion from those who share your intellect. Giving you the respect of space is the mark of a true friend, even though emotional neediness rears its unattractive head. You will be ahead of the game if you consider all situations intellectual and not personal. There are no victims.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
You better gird your loins for unexpected, spectacular change. For heaven’s sake, have a sense of humor; laugh especially loud at juxtapositions. You will profit immediately from an inborn knowledge of human nature. Utilize greed and pandering as comic relief for a crazy time. You will rule on your own trail with your own map and your own wit. Power lies in your concise opinions. They’re listening.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Who you know could not be more effective, as everybody wants to be in your graces and is willing to contribute. Your credibility within a group is at its peak; use this time to convince the right folks of a worthy project. A work situation demands diplomacy. Stay out of skirmishes by withholding your emotional responses and opinions; refuse to take sides, but take everything under advisement. Use these power words: “I’ll think about it.”

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
To banish the sin of coveting is really simple, but not necessarily easy. Often, what we covet is something we cannot have. To do so is unhealthy for the mind. What do you want that you cannot have? You will find breaking the cycle of wanting to be extremely powerful. Do it.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)
The crab eschews intelligence for “smarts.” Follow your gut instincts and apply an understanding of the patterns in nature to see the future. Especially now, you are a seer. A fragile vision shatters, however, when placed before the unworthy. The time favors clandestine meetings and secrets. You are being admitted to a new level of understanding. Good taste and good sense demand inscrutability.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
The party doesn’t start until you arrive, but only be “fashionably” late. Although way ahead in the polls, they are watching for some ego-driven faux pas that separates the regal from pretenders. Some personal work with a dynamic book or teacher will go a long way in restoring lost confidence. Take time to be your own shrink, as this month is ripe for reflection. Reach out to seldom-seen friends, and enjoy the comfort of your shared history.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
A special event planned for children, pets, or the elderly can renew your faith in your own good luck. A spiritual practice that used to be as natural as breathing has been bumped from the schedule, and your psychological health demands a regeneration of your inner life. When insecurity rages, there is no room for serenity, acceptance, letting go, and vision. Find that core of joyful living. Think back to when it was there and renew.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Saturn in Libra colors everything, making it seem like the hard way is the reality. Struggling for lightness, you may start to find the dark attractive. But a lack of balance brings you back to the center. A period of goal setting lies ahead. Acknowledge your youth in the beginnings. Old projects have expired, and you fight the ennui of same old, same old. Use will power to demand new options. Without spirit you are barely showing up. Be open.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Those in authoritarian positions benefit greatly from your behind-the-scenes wisdom and call upon you often now because of your calming influence. You are able to see a big picture and assist individuals in contributing to a cohesive outcome. If you can train some to be nonreactive, using psychological tricks based on ancient spiritual truth, you will help to overcome a seemingly overwhelming problem. Use your skills for the highest good.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Deep involvement in old emotional interactions is futile, as the dynamic is long before you and will be long after. In allowing each his or her own truth, you can extricate yourself from the fray and have a new adventure. You haven’t had time for a promising alliance; make a space. Look beyond friendship to finances and then decide.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Financial potential begins to bud after a long dry spell. Where you are willing to take on responsibility, you will find exciting potential. You are not usually a speculator, but the indications are so strong that you are tempted to take a risk. Bet on your knowledge of yourself and what you can accomplish when the will is there. Analyze the security needs of others and you save precious time. Be tolerant of numerous meetings; you will discover worthy agendas.
