The Official Visitors Center is located at the historic Frey Gas Station — one of the most significant architectural structures in the city. Designed by world-renowned midcentury modern architect Albert Frey, the center, located at Palm Canyon Drive and Tramway Road, helps visitors with hotel accommodations, shopping, dining, museums, attractions, and events. In addition, the center offers gift items, publications, souvenirs, and logo apparel. Information about the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument is available. Open daily, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
