Down to Earth — Finally?

Sherryl Nova

Since fall 2004, the energies of water, air, and fire have served up huge quantities of thought, action, and emotion. Without logic and reasoning, we have spun into a dervish of emotionally based communication and aggression with no grounding. The next two years bring a gradual influx of solution-level consciousness; things will improve, especially for those who seek “uncommon sense.” Smart will become more attractive.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Sometimes high cycle immediately follows low; there is no gradual climb, but a rather sudden, strong experience of betterment. This new year can be one of your best — certainly one of the most fortunate. Focus on growth and administering your life.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
A solid spiritual life could be no more important than it is now, as core beliefs are driving you. Study habit patterns of father-child and boss-employee, with emphasis on emotional reactions. Be willing to leap empty-handed into a void, with joyous acceptance of the unknown.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Those in high places are throwing down ladders and even building elevators. Take this time to prove that your way is the highway. You will experience rapid advancement available on these new levels. Take on responsibility gladly. You can do it!

Aries (March 21-April 19)
Understand the pecking order in your world and then acknowledge the power. Offer to help build foundations, if only to be near the wise ones. This is your year to be master teacher’s pet, and you thrive under the wing of a potentate. A quantum leap in public relations demands you keep up.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
A realization that death is part of the circular pattern of time — not the end of a straight line — will set you free. Whatever has transitioned from your life left at the exact right moment to create a space for the new. Be content with simplicity. It builds a better future.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Sexual energy is only a small part of our desire nature. Creativity stems from a desire for a richer experience. What do you want? You must articulate this in order to proceed. Begin to sketch your future. Paint a big picture. Quiet the mind for vision.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Have a sense of losing yourself? You’re in one of the most indecisive cycles of time, and it’s uncomfortable for the decisive crab. New information is being processed at warp speed; and although you understand the facts, you need time for evaluation and judgment. Postpone iffy decisions.

Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
Neptune still assaults you. Wild-eyed improbabilities and nebulous schemes proliferate. You need to regroup mentally. Consider education that emphasizes strengthening the mind. Relearning thought patterns opens up new avenues for fulfillment; you’ll be brighter.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Long-held dreams face a time of testing where your involvement and willingness to get the job done are the only answers. If you feel alone, it’s because the show is all yours. Don’t look around; look within. Be firm.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
The domestic situation has been a burr under your saddle long enough. It’s beginning to affect your public life. Changes are necessary. You will have more energy and drive if you sense balance in your surroundings. Declutter. Simplify.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
The mortal enemies list shortens as you realize living well is the best revenge. Initiate communications to build a power base of a peer group. Graciously entertain others’ ideas; use and mean the word “interesting.” Tolerance pays off. Be open.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Too much going on? This is a typical Sagittarius scenario, but now it’s multiplied. Sudden opportunities to change the course of history require speed and sureness. Understand hidden motivations and agendas before you become involved. Philosophical compatibility drives success.
