Power Shifting Moves 2012 Along

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
It’s back to the drawing board for an ambitious project. Get to work on the development of the proper system of operation to enhance efficiency. Progress accelerates when alliances offer you access to their own resources, and there is a new level of commitment as more are drawn into the plan. You will be vindicated by spring. Stay low-key for protection.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
A longtime associate falls by the wayside and bruises your ego. It’s not about you. Be ready to take on new crusades with fresh faces. Focus attention on your spiritual life. Get a handle on forgiveness, letting go. An ideal that had lost impetus comes roaring back with turbo thrust. You are prepared for the new. Do it.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Alliances seem to waver or even backpedal, and you feel alone in the quest. Actually, you can get more done in warrior mode; don’t expect them to catch up. When in deep water, become a diver. Engage one or more consultants or vendors to assist you in projecting a strong image. Your opinion will set the tone, especially if you keep to your own counsel. Be secure.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Where you have left a task dangling, you will be held up, distracted, and inefficient. Empty your in-box and know that nature abhors a vacuum. A major phase is ending, and you will start anew on the level you have achieved. See superfluous activities as clutter. Appreciate quiet contributors, as they increase their basic value through steadfast service. Assist the power structure.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
For you, speculation is almost a dirty word, as it just doesn’t make enough solid sense. Yet an off-the-wall consideration looks more and more realistic as you ponder it. If you are willing to accept responsibility for structuring a better way of doing business, you will make major inroads toward a much more secure level of competence, Go out and play with some kids for renewal.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Public relations are most effective now. Realize that you will have to shed light on new concepts before the tide of public opinion turns in your favor. You will be given more than one opportunity for a mixed media message. Take these chances to get their attention and astound them with unique concepts that are future oriented. Share the wealth of exciting new facts and prosper.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
Behind-the-scenes meetings and new alliances will strengthen your determination, and what they don’t know will only benefit you. Announcements are a little premature, so keep it all close until perfection moves it all toward the light of day. Knowing an outcome before it’s time is often frustrating, but you will succeed. Be willing to wait for the lagging crowd. Meanwhile, clean files.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
Financial situations are out of your control, yet outcomes can benefit you if you are patient and nonjudgmental in your response. Not all are on the same page, and organization attempts are like herding cats. Solutions will appear when all the information is in, and certain factions are widely scattered. Apply dogged effort to accounting for it all; soon there will be progress.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Mars retrograde in your sign makes decisions out of focus. In trying to pacify disparate forces, you will lose your own way and submit to schemes that take you far off the path. Withholding your own truth for the sake of a peaceful outcome will come back and bite you. Decide early in the discussion, and make your point firmly. New respect will strengthen your motives.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It would seem that telling everybody what they want to hear will accelerate progress, but a lie of omission can throw a wrench into a thriving operation. Be aware of rank; loose lips sink ships even if they are tiny lifeboats. Those little details and little people are instrumental to success. Keep track of minutiae until you are confident in the forward motion. You’ll hit full speed by spring.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Use the math of networking. Realize that you are only two phone calls away from your goal. Rather than a random walk through the Yellow Pages, think of someone who can point you in the right direction. That second phone call can be crucial. Search for specific information or a connection, and hidden areas are lit. Friends and groups have answers; pay attention to catalysts.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Constant change on the professional front makes for a peculiar insecurity. Come to conclusions even if they will change again and again. Eventually a cohesive group begins to form, and you will see how it all can work. Vendors and service providers jockey for position. A deliberate, thoughtful approach slows down the craziness. There is order at the end of the tunnel. Persevere.
