January 2013 Horoscope

Business in the Age of Aquarius

Corporations may not be people, but they are entities — and will be part of the foundation of the Aquarian Age. An individual can be a corporation, but he or she needs associates to thrive. The next 60 days hold promise for the development of these entities. A change of consciousness will contribute to new concepts that refine their structure, and growth is inevitable. Capricorn  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
In your haste to take advantage of unprecedented opportunities, be sure you can handle the responsibilities. Other involvements still must be finalized; in a short time, there will be a wider range of contributions. A group is forming, and others will see and meet the needs. Delegation builds the strength of the network. Quiet power resides with those who are not in it for the glory. Be selective.

Aquarius  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Cultivate mental-emotional skills of a spiritual nature. Can you forgive, let go, be serene, and create aspiration and inspiration? Can you develop a vision for your future infused with faith? Realize that basic truth lies in the confidence you have aligned wisely. Then let go, knowing that your choices are viable. Ideas for a revamped financial plan slowly coalesce. Networking provides more information quickly.

Pisces  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Goal achievement is possible. All the key players are interested and motivated. Use encouragement and highlight special skills of the individual and the group. You are more likely to “short out” and need quiet time after too much information. Escape restores balance and renewal. Be the chief spiritual officer for the group.

Aries  (March 21-April 19)
The power structure will consider you for more responsibility. Comparisons with others become moot. Deal only with authority, slow down with peers and underlings, and concentrate on your own contribution. You have shown administrative skill and will move to the next level. This is a test. The goal is close, but the ascent to the summit ahead will be difficult.

Taurus  (April 20-May 20)
Rhetoric bogs down plans for fiscal improvement. You need more lecture time before entering the lab. Be sure of what you know before you apply it. Two revenue streams can flow your way, requiring more time and study. Reach out to siblings, neighbors, and your community to revive a neglected concept. Stay strong. It will happen.

Gemini  (May 21-June 20)
Jupiter in your sign provides a panorama of possibilities. Many offer opinions. Treat them as data, think about them, but make no promises. Success is in the details, and no one has time for that yet. This will be the nest of a new endeavor, and impulsive communiques add the pressure of expectations. Develop a cautious, deliberate timeline and refuse to rush. There is time to grow.

Cancer  (June 21-July 22)
Alliances require behind-the-scenes hand holding as you uncover hidden agendas. Realizing true motivations will cause a detour, but armed with understanding, you increase your power position. Ordinary itineraries sprout creative sidebars that may be worth a plan B. Flexibility will turn an annoying situation into a better way. Others will share resources. Ask and receive.

Leo  (July 23-Aug. 22)
You are working too hard, taking on too many jobs. Delegate! The king is only as powerful as the court. Engage the forte of specialists for the good of the project. Encourage individually and lavish praise. The right talent will create a spectacular presentation and highlight your leadership skills. Revamp the image and modus operandi. Be sharp. They’re looking.

Virgo  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your sign symbolizes the highest-ranking servant, just under the ruler. You can provide a special service and earn top rates. Friends and group connections can create leads. Consider hosting an event where attendees receive complimentary valuable information. Work the room like a politician. New alliances have creative approaches to renovating an old system. Listen and learn.

Libra  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Sturm und drang of the streets should make you extra happy to be at home. The domestic environment supports personal goals. The quiet refreshes you to jump back into the fray. You are approaching a major period of goal setting based on strong instincts. Trust your hunches with new people, some of which will become significant.

Scorpio  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Quick trips enhance your awareness of a growing project. Be willing to go on short notice. There is consensus after much discussion. Take the first steps toward a new gathering of minds. Self-help concepts are viable. Let yourself be led to necessary data. You are more effective behind the scenes. A friendship develops an emotional edge. Is it a problem or budding creativity? Be willing to experiment.

Sagittarius  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Conservative inroads are a challenge fiscally, but delayed gratification will pay off if you are frugal now. Restructure aspects of how you administer income. Shrewd calculations will stimulate the cash flow. Consider specialized schooling. Take a mentor to lunch and express gratitude for his or her input and boost the approval rating.
