ABOUT THE COVER: A romantic picnic splashed with shimmering summer colors under the trees or near a lake demands an equally elegant menu. This epicurean delight was prepared and displayed by Mary Go Round Catering of Palm Springs and Beverly Hills and was served with crystal, china and silver from Tuverson and Co., Palm Desert. Lovely Constance Walsh models a gossamer gown provided by Saks Fifth Avenue; Steve Austin (Cindy Romano Finishing School and Modeling Agency) is outfitted by Morrie Geyer Men's Clothing. Walker Scott supplied the comforter, pillows, hat and shoes, and Gilligan's Island, the excellent champagne. Photography by Howard Deshong on location at the Americana Canyon Hotel, Palm Springs.
