Horoscope July 2008

Weather rises above small talk

Odd weather patterns have dominated during Saturn’s transit through the eclipse path. Mount St. Helens blew when Mars and Jupiter crossed an eclipse path. These alignments affect the magnetic poles, causing wobble on the planet. Eclipses have intense effect on individual charts, bringing irrevocable changes. Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Out of the blue, a pleasant job for a sweet stack of cash chases away the frustrations of summer heat. Two or three short trips also provide collateral, and news from siblings and neighbors provide solutions to problems in communications. Activate your spiritual life midmonth to deflect the natural downer of the Capricorn full moon.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Lists are lucky now, so make a few and keep at it until they’re finished. In the process of lightening up, you will increase your net worth. It’s a great time for a closet inventory and garage sale. Establish and practice minimalism where you can; it nurtures a new mindset that is razor sharp and solution oriented. Be peaceful.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Mars in your sign means an overcrowded schedule and issues of time management. You will be strong and effective where you make “no-thank-you” decisions quickly and promise no rose gardens. A secret friendship is empowering, and you are energized by the young and young at heart. Take time to meditate.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
There will be a serious hitch in your giddyup if you make a slip in your social/work calendar. Decide long in advance what is truly important and ignore the irrelevant. You are being observed and your level of involvement tested. Management skills keep the status quo. Work hard, incognito. You’ll get no glory, but plenty of points.

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 21)
Group efforts demand your unwavering support, and you are able to pull off a big coup by sneaking off for a little reconnaissance mission. Keep a secret until the time is right and you maintain control. Recognize emotional/psychological issues with others. Apply the knowledge in public relations situations for success.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Indecision is expensive now, and you must juggle many projects and finish two major endeavors. Look to the best in the service professions; their help will put you over the top. A health concept intrigues. How can you participate? Enthusiasm is a sharp sales tool, and you can profit from what excites your intellect. Be positive.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
A creative idea shared with a passionate ally can turn into reality later in the year. This is a time for right-brain dreaming. Consider possibilities no matter how farfetched. These visions can be the beginning of a far better life. A long-held dream is viable. Your fantasies are a glimpse into tomorrow. Have faith.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is your wellness month — not so much physical, but the mentality behind energy burnouts. Do some pop psychology on yourself; it will be extra effective. Trust wit rather than the usual intelligence and you will go farther faster. A spa experience and a general makeover will turn heads. You’re a race car in a pit stop.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Hard work now makes for an easier passage into fall. Order is necessary to be effective in planning and connections. Any chaos in the immediate environment weakens the wins. Someone who adores you would like a chance to contribute and will work hard, but you have to make the first move. Diagram the action plan.

Aries (March 21-April 19)
Flirtation is good for the soul, and hallelujah there are interesting objects of your attention now. Showing off lets them know you are ready for the big time, and you will be able to make hard labor seem like a parlor game. Let your defenses down with children and play. Be advised: There is no right or wrong; there is only fun.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Love is money this month. Count your blessings and look around you. Extended family has much joy to share. You can’t worry and laugh at the same time. Grow up and tackle that domestic clutter. Don’t stop until it’s done, and you will no longer feel like a recalcitrant child. Free at last; now go play with the kids. Smile.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You’ll find much comfort on the domestic front if you stay home and enjoy the fruits of your creativity. Start a hobby or project that keeps you in; a little settling is good for your soul. You have been meaning to make some catch-up calls, and you know who is waiting for that call. It’s important to keep in touch. Reach out.
