‘Great Time for New Beginnings’

‘Great Time for New Beginnings’
On July 21, an unprecedented alignment begins in Libra and Aries — a combustible time that will influence us for weeks. It marks the end of many established forms and processes. As the end of the Drug and Oil Age approaches, institutions and systems immolate. Libra and Aries represent intelligence and action. As they interact, we will be moved to war — with the law as ammunition. This is a great time for new beginnings. For a look at your personal alignments, e-mail me at sherrylnova@aim.com.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)

Your intrinsic skill waits, often avoiding chaos with your mother wit and past application. Leap empty-handed into the void. It’s time. More pondering will only paralyze. Be not a deer in the headlights of your own direction. Be the scout, working alone, blazing new trails. Make the most of your aloneness, and don’t be lonely. You are so close.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)

Rabidly seek all the loose ends and cauterize. Gird your loins for a leadership position. No others have your heart for the job. An alliance of associates can drive your ideals. If there is no time for order, pay to have it done. It’s a necessity, but not necessarily your responsibility. However you acquire this preparedness, it will soon be your greatest strength.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Mars in your sign peaks your physical biorhythm. You have greater energy. Focus it and avoid irritation and frustration. Formidable tasks that have loomed are mere molehills. You will be amazed at the effectiveness of your efforts. Hire temporary help with a big job. Reorganize.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
The subconscious is the 90 percent of the brain that goes unused. There are cycles when it dominates. That time is now. You are, for the most part, sleep-walking. It’s a period of rest. You need fresh dreams to continue the game. Get away. How can they miss you if you don’t go away? Take advantage of this lull to rejuvenate. Buck the trend, and stay plugged into the flotsam. Chill.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

A notepad (electronic or paper) is your most effective tool during this period of intense vision. Start each day and week with the “to do” list. Writing it down is magic. Put off nonessential social demands; you will find aloneness pleasant. Help a friend and a charity. Your efforts will qualify you for a miracle. Your fondest wish is two phone calls (or e-mails) away. Aspire.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Recent news has broadened your horizons, and you thrill to the big picture. You will be wildly successful if focused on the details of the positioning of the troops. Categorize each individual with an exact job description. They must work the tedious for the project to thrive.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This time will test your loyalty to your own plans. Above all, avoid “woulda, coulda, shoulda,” those forbidden fruits in Eden. Thoughts really are things; words are their manifestation. Spend a limited amount of time on frustration. It helps to shake your fist at the sky and yell, “Bring it on!” Be fierce.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Fear not Shiva, the goddess of death. Her lesson is that there is beauty and cleanliness in death. Now is the time to destroy some major lifestyle habits before they kill you. Scary? Nah. Simple? Yeah, but not easy. You will contemplate transition, hear of a passing, or be visited by ghosts. Then comes your tempering Shiva energy. Be born again. Renew.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Partners have never been more supportive — or more demanding. You must be better than on your game to take advantage of blessings where you do all the work. Yet others are important. In this time of proving, show what you have. They have an idea but require demonstration. Words have initiated the new, but actions solidify. Keep the scales in mind; give and take evenly.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)

The clouds opened and you saw a glimpse of a fabulous future that awakened your warrior spirit. Then they closed. Natural progression. You require cooperation of new alliances that you probably have not met. This will change rapidly, but slow to a crawl as you build consensus. Finally, a path lies ahead. Rejoice that your leadership looms.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
Hold the babies, the pets, and the blooms from the fields. In this springlike part of your cycle, consider new goals and aspirations. What seem like silly or far-reaching ideas are actually seeds. Study the needs of your heart. Decide where to spread joy. Unless you become like a little child, you will miss the magic of this month. Allow your inner child playtime.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Home is your secret weapon. Beyond spring cleaning, rededicate a space to a current purpose, with all the appropriate tools in place and ready. Important breakthroughs that usually occur in the streets can come to you in your back yard. As soon as an area clears, wondrous new matter will fill it. Make a space.
