Horoscope - July 2013

Time to Rethink and Refresh

Thinkstock.com

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
Without attracting attention, apply firm pressure to a heartfelt goal. Nurture your agenda like a farmer who sees the beautiful harvest in buds — nothing to pick or enjoy, but so much promise. You are putting down roots that can grow as you settle in for the journey. Your crop is in process. Appreciate the cycles of time.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
An ingrained emotional reaction exhausts you. It’s time for quiet moments to contemplate the source of the pain. Script and stick to a new approach. You will throw opposition off guard. Behavior modification is your opportunity for healing and new personal skills. Nature is a spa. Relax. Breathe. Renew.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Initiate contact and avoid wasting time waiting for others to start. Soon, ideas can become reality. Gather data, and the right action will naturally follow. Support comes from those who share a topic of interest. Compare notes with an intellectual peer group. Ego slows you down. Humility empowers.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
In this time of production, ideas must become action. In solitary periods, do the necessary drudgework without superfluous communications. You are at the top of your game. Build strategy knowing you are the best. Real estate and food contribute to progress. Appreciate home cooking.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Your life purpose has much support now. Areas of action include resourcefulness, domestic order, effective spiritual practice, security issues, nurturance of others through intuitive impressions, and vision. When the power-mongering eagle only wishes to control the self, all is accomplished. Political skills contribute much.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
In the next 90 days, set aside some quality “drop out” time. You are nearing oversaturation when good news becomes white noise. Be slow on the uptake (after the 21st). Disregard the usual suspects and go to one who rarely speaks out. Listen to a listener.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
A natural caution has created a curmudgeon whose humbugs are tolerated. But add simmering anger, and the atmosphere becomes volcanic. The Serenity Prayer asks for the wisdom to know the difference between what you can change and what is impossible. Pick your battles, and win a couple by refusing to engage.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Follow your heart with loved ones, and create some memories. Plan a gathering that spreads good will and connection. Encourage mutual friends to explore potential alliances. You can be the hub of a rare wheel of progress. Be generous with your contacts, and your position solidifies. A personal effort can enrich the community.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Your intervention in an emotional crisis can facilitate personal healing for you and/or another. Judgment contributes to forward motion. Let all be guilty until proven innocent, and you will gain answers and protection. Don’t give the benefit of the doubt to a dubious proposition.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Community service and involvement will show you potential in the neighborhood. Clearing up a domestic issue will afford you more time at home, where you could close a big deal in your bathrobe. Command central emanates from intimate space. Take advantage; you will soon be back in the streets, noisy and distracting.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
What seem like setbacks are really restrictions. Obstacles show you how to structure the agenda for future payoffs. Frugality makes for a heftier payday later. You will be amazed at rapid growth that springs from small sacrifices. Know that today invests in tomorrow, and be patient. The best is yet to come.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Money is an effect of the cause: values. Cultivate habits in spending and saving that support long-term goals. An old source of revenue trickles out, but you can open a new door with a simple investment. Personal comforts can also contribute to professional power. Look around, see what you have, and apply it in a new way.
