Gather Data, Then Go

Mercury retrograde alert! Eighty percent of you are subject to the inconsistencies of this time. Channel your frustration into more data collection; you lack sufficient input to finish a concept or begin a new project. By the end of the month, the cycle accelerates; those who have done their homework will make rapid strides toward the goal. Open-mindedness contributes to success. Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Your butterfly consciousness is more like a moth at a porch light. Bombarded with new data, you find no answer in sight. Metaphysically, you are facing a cluttered desk; the most daunting stacks are those you are afraid to trash. Not everything is viable. Settle down.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

An intelligent (but not smart) savant in your environment has much to impart, but you are not in the habit of listening. Your subconscious cycle is ripe for enlightenment; meditation pays off. A relationship that is clandestine can uplift you. Extra sleep and downtime will rejuvenate you. Chill.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Finally some ego support as your theories are accepted by those who matter. It’s up to you to open a dialog within a group that will lead to a strong presentation by late summer. Be selfish in considering your needs first; you can’t add to parity if you are deprived. Alternative health concepts aid in healing.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Your finely tuned intelligence has made you an encyclopedia of the aspirations of others. But what about you? Is your involvement an opportunity to escape from viable solo endeavors? All greatness begins with vision, and yours will be clear when you are not so distracted. A short business trip is lucrative later. Relax and enjoy.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You are limited by the whims of the powers that be; if you had your way, a new public relations culture would prevail. The world is not ready for your higher consciousness just yet. Spend the time refining a plan and cultivating good will among new associates. Creative urges can be nurtured behind the scenes. Be evasive.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Confide in a friend who is removed from current crises to gain valuable perspective. Two separate factions seem to cancel each other out, but there is a little something in each for your purposes. Limit public appearances to high-level presentations; they will miss you if you go away. Power lies in your withdrawal.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Many are called into your radiance, but few are chosen to linger, let alone stay. Everybody is your best friend now, but no one is really simpatico. All warmth will have to come from within. Take a couple of weeks off from intense relationships. Keep a light, flexible attitude and slip away to explore a new environment. Exercise.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Patience is its own reward. Be still and know that you are on the right path. A personal search for a stronger psychological core will lead to a new philosophy, and you will be relieved of an anxiety. Consciously practice ways to turn worry into positive prayer — not mind over matter, but mind over mind. Invest in grooming products.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You will attract new energies as you fly through your days, and there is love in the air. Mutual admiration societies form as you meet those younger or young at heart. Each cycle has a time to play. Go outside with the other new kids and get into some stimulating make believe. Tolerance leads to exciting new concepts.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Stay in or near your own bowl, little fish. Though tempted to swim away, your only escape will be from yourself. Spend time with one who helps you define goals, and begin to reach out to those who have expressed interest. It’s not a time for concrete plans, yet there is so much to discover from that little castle.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

It’s lonely when they are all eating your dust, so slow down. Psychic flashes are uncomfortable, as it’s your nature to accomplish, and pathways are murky. Personal boot camp prepares you for the next right action; spend time building up resources, physical and mental. Calm your intellect with focused fitness. Work out.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Fiscal issues must be faced and resolved or you will be paralyzed when the time comes to initiate new starts. You have been hanging on to stuff, people, and ideas that have no foreseeable worth. Let go and clean out, knowing that a clean new space will fill with the new. Clutter is no longer comforting. Get busy and lighten up.
