June Horoscope

Taken Slow, Ventures Grow

Gemini - May 21 / June 20

Jupiter enters Taurus on June 4 and transits the home of the bull through June 12, 2012. In these turbulent economic times, expansion is rare. Yet ventures begun under Taurean principles can grow slowly and surely into solid capitalism. Your endeavors can succeed if you abide by simple principles. Invest in yourself. Be willing to work hard and delay gratification. For a personal reading, e-mail me at sherrylvova@aim.com.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Your year is full of fabulous opportunities to go within. When spiritual influences are high, we can heal old emotional ills, acquiring new skills for serenity and letting go. You will experience a subtle shift in your value system. What was essential may lose its luster. Mystical times of appreciation of the moment can bring unprecedented peace. Plan for short periods of retreat and renewal. Meditate.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
An unsettling situation on the home front will lose its grip on your well-being as you come to a conclusion that eliminates worry. Use the domestic environment as a vehicle for professional progress. Check the feng shui of the home office and keep it ordered. Then it will emit powerful vibes of pending success. Moving water (i.e., a small fountain) with six coins in the southwest corner often works for crabs. Keep the money fluid.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
The Lion is rarely penurious, being royalty and all. But practicing the art of a slow pace will work wonders toward a positive readjustment. No luxurious outlays or impulse buys for a month will free up some wherewithal that can fund a new resource. Those in power are considering investing in your skills. Temper enthusiasm and radiate common sense; your actions will attract equal and opposite reactions.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Creative impulses are the infancy of a new set of skills that will serve you well. Be aware that this is your project — no partners, only associates, no ship-sinking loose lips. Be willing to pay for excellent products and services. Then you will not be obligated to include various factions in the result. There’s no time better than now to invest in yourself. Transmute social energy into sharp, written communications.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is a time to keep new alliances on the down-low. Conclusions are premature, and it’s nobody’s business what you do. You have recently let go of an endeavor that represented death. Now there is room for new life that develops over stimulating conversations about resources. Many seeds were thrown — too many for any to thrive. Brilliance is knowing which shoots to pull and which to fertilize.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
It is said that we laugh at funerals. That’s unfair. We are resented for our skillful use of the concept of death and rebirth. Recently there has been a death of a longstanding association. We realize that the situation had run its course, but the grief is hard and real. Almost instantly it morphs into a new plan. The resources of the relationship are now within. Go on alone. It was the experience that mattered. You own it.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Altruistic involvement in a project that you could have billed for will pay off a thousand times over. You will find that the experience of it all is the real dividend. People you have met are important for years to come. This unique contribution has proven your worth to yourself. In giving, you have solidified your credentials and established a list of future connections. You only gain from generosity — the pervasive power of the Archer.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
A speculative venture is on the horizon that will obviously be no risk at all. Hard work over previous months seems to have been futile, but it has only been time that stood against you. As a wave of rash expectations recedes, ideas form for a solid foundation. Be willing to invest extra effort and suspend gratification. As you invest, promise yourself you will not reassign assets for a long, slow period of growth. It will work.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Frantic real estate calculations need to stop. They are distracting you from countless opportunities. Shift your consciousness from net worth to application of a tool. How can you use the assets to their highest and best good? Maybe rent out the rooms in the mansion; let the Girl Scouts meet in the garage. Property is more than a price tag or a bank statement. It can be a vehicle for change and expansion. Contribute.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
This is a year of short trips (less than 200 miles). Fill the gas tank and head out. There is profit in another town. Your best investment is the top-of-the-line wireless gadget, as communication devices are your most valuable tools. A special community project would take some personal sacrifice, but will provide a new network of friends who are truly peers. That’s priceless.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
It’s a major money year. Your earning power is at an all-time high. Frugality is your secret weapon. Open an account and call it surplus. Within a year, there will be a chance to invest that extra cash in the most important financial coup of your career. Look at your alliances with the hard-edged scrutiny of the NFL coach at contract-renewal time. Let go of the underproducing and focus on the stats.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
In your Jupiter year, you have incredible opportunities to shift your investments around so that they pay much higher dividends. Chances to showcase your skills abound. Let others know what you have accomplished. Readjust your rate card; know your worth and stick to it — no discounts. The right clients will gladly pay. Be worthy in your heart and win.
