March 2014 Horoscope: A Time to Review and Realign

Retrograde Mars lingers in Libra through late July. During this time, alliances are challenged and the balance of power is precarious. Circumstances will demand that we renegotiate all contracts. In June, when Venus turns direct, we can be more proactive with positive changes. Assume there is much more data to be mined; decisions now will become revisions later. Retrograde requires realignment. For a personal reading, email me at sherrylnova@aim.com.

Pisces (Feb. 19–March 20)
A Libra Mars stimulates creativity and growth behind the scenes. Lucky when unnoticed, you acquire a priceless edge from the shadows. Once you discern secret agendas, you can make choices that boost your personal power. Remember that true power starts from within, and strive to annihilate self-defeating habits. Discretion is ultimately attractive.

Aries (March 21–April 19)
Your fearless spirit has attracted both those who honor and those who use. When you are weary, pieces of your soul can be snatched up by those who envy your energy. Because you are first to react, much is expected of you. Know that you have the option to breathe deeply and walk away. Lead with righteousness.

Taurus (April 20–May 20)
On the edge of a psychological breakthrough, you are highly analytical this month. If you trust your own instincts, you can clear clutter with wise choices. More sensitive to what is not balanced, you begin to deliberately unplug and see solutions for physical and mental rejuvenation. Heed the pressures of your subconscious; make necessary changes.

Gemini (May 21–June 20)
Left/right-brain Geminis dream in more colors than the average human, with empirical thinking. It’s almost time to focus, narrow your options, and choose. Stop seeking the opinions of others; they don’t understand the ramifications of the whole. Seek calm and open your mind to receive.

Cancer (June 21–July 22)
Burrow in. What is important will come to you. The community demands your contribution; give them the generous gift of your unique ability. It’s about you and what you can manifest single-handedly. You are alone, but the result will unite many. Road trips can be enlightening, and a short one sets you up to open communications.

Leo (July 23–Aug. 22)
While the flesh is willing, the spirit is weak — and you are plagued with false starts. You have to believe firmly in your endeavor, because wavering diminishes your confidence. Have you formed alliances with those who do not share your spirit? Be serene, forgiving, inspired, secure, and loving. Moments of oneness reveal who shares your vision.

Virgo (Aug. 23–Sept. 22)
Mars is retrograde in your money sector, and it’s the end of an era for an old value system. Things that were once highly important to you no longer matter. Manifestation occurs when you focus on what you want. Let go of what’s unimportant, detach from the paths of others, and declutter your head. The answer demands that you focus and isolate.

Libra (Sept. 23–Oct. 22)
Mars will be in your sign for the next several months, presenting challenges. Beware of motivation spurred by anger. Action for its own sake will manifest like a bull among the porcelain. Take time to go outside and play to renew your thought. Reflect on momentous decisions with a lighter hand. Where there is drama, see the obstruction and move on.

Scorpio (Oct. 23–Nov. 21)
There’s a sudden opportunity to learn a new use for your higher consciousness. Ever notice how the path clears and brightens when you let go of striving? Without concern for the effort, know the outcome — all will be fine. Relax. If you are willing to march into hell, you probably won’t have to. Releasing the stress opens the possibilities.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)
You are so close to a goal, but there is that dark before the dawn. The Sag is a winner, always striving for awards and leaving fireworks ashes in the wake. The darkness between fireworks is necessary for the drama of the burst. Honor stillness. Slow down and leave room for the applause. Timing is your secret weapon.

Capricorn (Dec. 22–Jan. 19)
The marketplace churns with contract renegotiations. Heads will roll, and new, untested intelligence is given a platform. Patience is power for you this month; don’t rush to judgment or second-guessing. This state of flux will thrive until summer, and gathering data is the best use of the energy. Beware of others’ drama, as it’s is a strong distraction from your own path.

Aquarius (Jan. 20–Feb. 18)
Accreditation is mandatory if you want to progress. Avoiding the next level is getting old, and you will be bored until you accept a new challenge. Others will meet you halfway, making it easier than you imagined. State your desire, smile, and stop talking — give the universe a chance to assist you. A miracle awaits once you have staked your claim.
