Gemma Kahng, Fashion Week El Paseo 2015’s finale designer, grew up in South Korea, eventually moving to New York to launch her first collection in 1989, shooting to prominence when it was featured in Vogue.
Since then, Kahng’s aesthetic has consistently offered an edgy, art-inspired, handcrafted take on feminine fashion. Each piece is a work of art on its own or as an exceptional complement to other wardrobe pieces.
