Throughout the past two decades, Scott M. Aaronson, M.D., F.A.C.S., has earned a reputation as one of the most skilled, educated, and gifted doctors in the region. For five consecutive years, this board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon has been named one of the area’s top plastic surgeons by New York-based Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd., an independent firm commissioned by Palm Springs Life.

For Dr. Aaronson, being named best in his field is a significant distinction in a region noteworthy for some of the country’s most acclaimed plastic surgeons. Dr. Aaronson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami Medical School. He served his general surgery residency at the University of California in Irvine and plastic surgery residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston. He is a member of numerous nationally recognized associations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.

What procedure did Dr. Aaronson perform for you, Laura?
Since I was a teenager, I’d always wanted larger breasts. Dr. Aaronson performed a breast augmentation in 2000.

How did you learn about Dr. Aaronson?
I had consulted with two other surgeons about the procedure. Dr. Aaronson was my sister’s surgeon and she referred me to set up a consultation in 1999. After discussing the procedure, I felt very comfortable he understood exactly what result I was seeking.

Tell me about your experience from the initial consultation to the procedure and throughout your recovery.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was very confident in Dr. Aaronson because of the results I’d seen with my sister. He told me everything I needed to know to prepare for my recovery time. The staff at the Aaronson Plastic Surgery Center are all extremely accommodating and experienced professionals.

How do you feel about your results? Are they as you anticipated? How do you feel about your body now?
My results are wonderful — better than I’d anticipated! Being a model, I’m definitely more confident and other women say “Wow! Who did your surgery? I want mine to look like yours!” I think they’re in good proportion and I am very pleased with my body image now.

How was the healing process for you?
Not bad at all. I had to rest and not overdo anything. But after the first month, I was back to myself and hitting the gym!

Would you recommend Dr. Aaronson to your friends and family?
Yes. We call Dr. Aaronson our family surgeon. He’s performed work on my mother, my sister, my soon to be mother in law, and lots of friends, already.
