Location/Transportation Facts - Resort hotel connected to the 100,000-square-foot Palm Springs Convention Center. Twelve miles south of Interstate 10. Three blocks from Palm Canyon Drive and the business district. One and one-half miles (five minutes) from Palm Springs International Airport; courtesy pickup included in resort fee.

Accommodations - Modern, five-story, U-shaped hotel houses 410 luxurious, spacious guest rooms, including 158 one-bedroom suites. All rooms are soundproof and have air-conditioning control, direct-dial phone with voice mail and data ports, color remote-control cable TV with feature movies, coffeemakers, iron and ironing boards. Suites have balconies, dressing rooms and oversize conversation areas. Six rooms have wet bars, 12 rooms are equipped for the handicapped. Non-smoking rooms are available.

Dining/Entertainment - Café Jardin, an American bistro in a garden setting, which features all-day indoor-outdoor dining. Cocktail service provided in the lobby bar and our misted poolside bar and grill. Room service from 6:30 a.m. daily.

Services/Facilities/Shops - Multilingual staff and "one-stop shopping" concept for the meeting planner, beauty shop, gift shop, body spa. Baby-sitters on call. Same-day laundry and dry cleaning. Self-service Business Center.

Recreation/Amusement Facilities - Heated, outdoor 5,000-plus-square-foot swimming pool, the largest hotel pool and sun deck in Palm Springs. Health club with exercise area, sauna, two whirlpools, children's pool and complete body spa. One mile to Palm Springs Stadium. Two miles to waterpark. Within minutes from 110 golf courses and golf resorts.

Principal Meeting Facilities, Equipment and Services

General Comments - Newly refurbished 30,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space located on the first floor. Grand Ballroom can be divided into five sections. Addition of new Junior Ballroom; the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto meeting rooms, ideal for all occasions. Pueblo and Chino rooms subdivide into two each. All rooms have multiple microphone, phone and electrical outlets as well as controls for climate, sound and electricity. Mojave has fixed, tiered seating for 160 people, classroom style. There is also a 60,000-square-foot beautifully landscaped outdoor court yard area, excellent for receptions and special events. Registration area, check rooms, rest rooms, and phones. Separate entrance and banquet kitchen.

Exhibits - Grand Ballroom offers 12,571 square feet for 80 (8' x 10') booths. Connected to the 100,000-square-foot Convention Center.

Meeting Equipment and Support Services - Through its own departments and local vendors, the hotel offers complete A/V and T-1 capabilities, talent and entertainment, meeting necessities, registration areas, special tours and side trips, banquet and special event planning, exhibit decorating and more.
