Horoscope - November 2013

High Time for Creativity

The month of Pluto (Shiva, the Phoenix) celebrates death and regeneration, sexuality, and birth. Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day remind us of the power of nature and creativity. Never be afraid to destroy in order to rebuild. The pleasure of sexuality, la petite mort in French, creates life and rejuvenates the spirit. Scorpio may not be a lighthearted force, but without it none of us would be here. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You are only two contacts away from acing a major goal. No one can fathom the depths of your consciousness, so network and go to them. Decimate an old method of operation and welcome ideas for renewal. Coldly analyze the situation, get the best help, and rebuild your kingdom.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
A voice calls out for retreat and introspection. The next couple of years will challenge your spirit. An ability to be alone and contemplative will strengthen you. Feeling like the biggest kid on the block, you long for a peer or a master. Go within for guidance. Finish lingering projects and create space for self-awareness.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Mastery of a practical ability will attract wise observers who gift you with special knowledge. Ask mentor types for advice: “What would you do in this situation?” They are pleased and flattered by the question and have invaluable input. React with simple gratitude. Embrace change as a viable force for growth.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Behind-the-scenes connections become more effective. Hold your cards close to your chest. Awareness of undercover machinations gives you an edge. You need not confront negativity, as a poker face holds the power. Don’t weaken your power by sharing too much information; rather, sit alone with your knowledge.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
A home improvement project delights you. Home and young people supply a joyous attitude, and you happily set goals. Take time to play, and be receptive to messages from the will. A plan is brewing. Self-esteem grows with involvement. Allies will share resources; ask freely. Serious connections will lighten and become friends.  Be optimistic.

Aries (March 21-April 19)
Manipulation can be positive, if you study hidden agendas and work for a successful outcome. Project wide-eyed enthusiasm while being aware of power plays. Ignore petty disagreements and lead through example. With no visible pressure, the situation will support your plan. Nurture the special talent of another. Trust your hunches.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It’s time to approach those with the juice, as your evidence and case are right on. Be patient waiting for replies. A slow pace is more effective. Your approach may be radical, but will be understood and accepted in time. You are at the top of your game in a certain area. Acknowledge those who helped make it happen. Be grateful.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Special attention to matters of hygiene, health, and grooming improve your image. Powers of persuasion increase, and new alliances begin to manifest. Apply your services only to the highest person or project, and re-evaluate the level of support from your subcontractors and vendors. Some have outlived usefulness.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Frustrating obstacles dissolve, and the sum of the parts begins to look like a whole. Be willing to sacrifice for an objective. Establishment types are watching closely; impress them and gain support. A powerful new alliance is closer than you think.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
A crazy busy time is slowing. Settle in for a period of productivity. The streets have supplied plenty of data. Tremendous strides in your professional standing are possible, but you must settle down and do the work. Periods of solitude produce excellent results. Embrace the quiet.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Be determined to learn a new technique or system, and you will discover a peer group and a special friend. Your immediate community is a source of enrichment. Get involved on a grassroots level, and you are rewarded with personal growth. A speculative venture may seem risky, but the experience is its own reward.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
There are times when you feel the poorest and the richest you have ever been. This is a result of rapidly changing values. An income stream dries up, but a new source is nearby. Delayed gratification caused by a new investment will pay off down the road. Old desires are no longer relevant. Be willing to live empty for a time. Be patient.
