“One of my reasons for opening a store was to give back what was so freely given to me,” says Highest Form’s proprietor, Robert D’Amour, whose clothing and accessories shop for men and women donates 10 percent of all purchases to a variety of local charities.

D’Amour will donate the full retail value of one weekender bag ($495) from JADEtribe’s “Moroccan Collection,” to SafeHouse of the Desert. Based in Thousand Palms, the nonprofit benefits families facing such issues as addiction, depression, and bullying. Offering a shelter for runaway teens as well as counseling and therapy for individuals and families, SafeHouse provides hope for a brighter future at home.
