Horoscope October 2009

Think Inside of What Box?

Fasten your seat belt: It’s Saturn square Pluto. The last square was in 1993, and the next comes in 2016. What happens this year will set many precedents and integrate into a world culture by the next square. Libra/Capricorn in 2010 will tilt law to the benefit of the corporate structure and decrease its role in many government policies. Laws seemingly set in stone will dissolve, and radical shifts in law-enforcement mandates will boost the intelligence of society. With any square, there are revolutions and rebuilding. Do your part. LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Libra demands balance, the development and maintenance of relationships, and the proper image. Saturn is in your sign for the next 30 months. (The last time you had these challenges was September 1980 to August 1983.) You have an opportunity to begin again on a much higher level. Stresses in liaisons need analysis. Be ready to destroy in order to rebuild.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You have much information that is not widely known, yet must be implemented. Your lack of subtlety may preclude you being on the forefront of change. Consider the deep background, where your skills reign supreme. Your power is stealth, most effective in an advisory capacity; and those you benefit probably won’t sing your praises.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Many issues are in final phases. Consciously clean up and delete; you need order and closure. Realize the beauty of the void and create it. Nature abhors a vacuum. You have had the best: the youth, the golden moments with a person, place, or thing. Now move on. A bored archer is a troublemaker; don’t go there.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Realize you have done all the work and take your hands off a treasured goal. What’s left is the 1 percent inspiration. Help a group to understand every nuance of power in coming changes. Apply (and brush up on) spiritual skills; that will grant you the serenity of a light ego. Represent the greater good and you shine brightest.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is a turnaround month when the light at the end of the tunnel goes from flickering to strong. Through the holidays, wishes become reality and you can drop the thought that you are ahead of your time. Others are catching up and catching on. Warning: no piles in the back of your closet or hard drive. Order is the lucky charm. Be ready.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
From biggest of the little kids to the littlest of the big kids, you will leave management (baby-sitting) behind. Run with the big dogs and prove yourself useful to their goals. Have you provided proper administration for all that you have built? If so, you have earned the respect and resources of those on a level of a paradigm shift. How’s the view?

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
These next few months challenge and reward your restless nature, as you accept unsafe alliances. New beginnings are fraught with the unknown. Remember that fear is “false evidence appearing real.” Stifle the what-ifs, encourage bravery, and use the words of Chaka Khan: “Once you get started, oh it’s hard to stop.”

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
Your steadfast nature has earned you a position in a group. Enthusiasm for the process has made you a self-starter, and achievements have attracted those who seek your abilities. Don’t give anything away! It's time to set a rate card and know your worth. Volunteer only where you will gain valuable experience, and apply surety.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Months of drudgery will fade as you enter one of the most intellectually productive periods of your life. Develop a strong sense of the social order and maintain connections. Who you know is essential. Those who are irrelevant may still be catalytic. Who do they know? Keep everything in its place.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
A pivotal time where intense efforts come to the point of do or die. Your glass ceiling may be in the wrong building. Consider aiming long-collected ammunition at a different, unexpected target. You are prepared, but for what? There’s a forest for the trees here somewhere. Your personal vision attracts others.
It's time to build a constituency.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
A Leo once said, “There is no right or wrong; there is only fun!” Spreadsheets have bogged you down for two years. Can you recognize joy? Consider what is truly worthy now. Realign with your inner child. There is much to delight you, but it’s more personal and less material. Stop and smell a rose.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
In the ego, the bloated nothingness screams, “Don’t you know who I am?” You may be the founder and CEO of all you survey, but so much of it is so tired — and making you cranky. There is nothing wrong with cheerful resignations. You require new challenges. Create space for growth.
