Everyone Benefits When Saturn Shifts

Saturn leaves Libra on the 6th and will be in Scorpio for the next two-and-a-half years. This high point of the Saturn-Neptune cycle can be beneficial to all. In October, bring a vision into focus. Is there a way to merge your ambitions with your spiritual philosophy? If the daily grind is meaningless, take responsibility for your contribution to a worthy cause. Good fortune will be with those who apply a professional skill to a humanitarian effort. Give without expectation for an almost instantaneous benefit. Libra  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
The last couple of years have tested your ability to maintain balance where there was no compatibility. Venus has demanded that you play nice and make everybody welcome, but Scorpio’s influence helps to close a few chapters that have run their course. Discrimination is not bigotry but self-preservation in its highest form. Save yourself. Cut superfluous ties.

Scorpio  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Saturn is friendly with the Scorpion. Your power is in the shadows, holding secrets and discerning hidden motivations. The only thing you can control is your reaction. Power mongers are always attracted to those out of control. Back away from the chaos; it’s really none of your business and an energy drain. Be selfish and you empower others.

Sagittarius  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
No one can traverse the streets like you Archers. Your curiosity about the human condition propels you toward a new experience. However, your spirit is shaken by revelations you did not ask for and do not want to know. The demands of the moment are the antithesis of your nature. Who wants to be suspicious and disillusioned? Not you. Take what you know and let go of debilitating connections. Lighten up.

Capricorn  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Angels come down and talk with men and then are never seen again. Cherubim and seraphim surround you. In this highly subconscious cycle, you will be given messages in many forms. Lay your harrumph nature aside to listen to the wind. Open your channels to a higher frequency and you receive blessing in the form of answers. Be still. Brief forays into the wonders of the natural world rejuvenate your soul.

Aquarius  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
So much discussion and so little action. Stagnant energy has you revved up in circles. As you leave lecture and enter lab, it is paramount that you figure out how to apply what you have intellectualized. A radical change may be the only way to break out of a long-held pattern. You hesitate because you know what a different life it will be when you about-face. Leap empty-handed into the void. Live bravely.

Pisces  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Predominance of mutable planets is a special challenge for the old-soul fish. “Too much information” is the overriding force, and you think you can handle it. Keep reactions to yourself with a noncommittal “how interesting.” There is so much change for its own sake that only a breezy take on the craziness will keep you above the fray. Hold out until the last minute on decisions. Better yet, just collect data and make no promises.

Aries  (March 21-April 19)
Foreign and cultural connections indicate new plans that involve travel or education. You may not leave town, but a significant class or encounter will expand your mind like a trip around the world. Realize that you are a master teacher in one distinct area. Find that superior student and share. Wisdom that activates a paradigm shift is a gift. The teacher and student both benefit.

Taurus  (April 20-May 20)
Responsibilities you have cheerfully undertaken for years are slowly but surely morphing into monsters. The next few months will show that contracts must be renegotiated. Facts are changing. Up the ante on your involvement. Patience and perseverance will reward you with a higher level of competence and a new appreciation for your skills. Rome was not built in a day. You have a couple of years; pace yourself.

Gemini  (May 21-June 20)
In your eagerness to reach the pinnacle of intelligence, you may be ignoring pesky details that are no fun. Stimulating communiques have you in rarified air. Perhaps you are placing expectations of performance on those who will not get past the concept. It’s an exciting time, but your center of balance is threatened. Boot camp exercise and frequent meditation restore power.

Cancer  (June 21-July 22)
Take on a vision with a lighthearted approach. There are others who would benefit greatly from your initiation, and the eventual group could accomplish miracles. Lovers are for a time, but friends are forever. Lovers who are friends are rare and wonderful. The sandbox of life contains all your favorite kids. It’s time to make a play date or two and celebrate glorious fun.

Leo  (July 23-Aug. 22)
After a period of drudging domestic concerns, life lightens up. Spontaneous social events heal the doldrums, and you will find some simpatico compadres. Widen your social circle to enrich your own consciousness, and others benefit as well. Unprecedented intuition stops you in your tracks as you struggle with reality and illusion. Go with your gut instinct regarding hidden motivations. Morality-based decisions rule.

Virgo  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Some financial issues clear up soon because you have put in the time. Let go of concern for the bank balance and go into the community to see where you could add value. You will find that when you give without expectation, miracles happen behind the scenes. Plan a getaway where nature awes you. Good fortune awaits after a couple of hours’ drive. So fill the tank.
