ABOUT THE COVER: Depicting a facet of the diversity of architecture in private homes in the Coachella Valley, photo shows "floating" game room - a unit of the Joseph K. Dennis home in Thunderbird Heights. The circular, glass-walled structure, 24 feet in diameter, is an architectural duplicate of the large main house, 90 feet in diameter and encompassing 7,000 square feet of luxurious living area.
