Bright as the desert itself, this group of impressive young professionals promises to achieve greatness in the Coachella Valley
If people are our greatest resource, Coachella Valley’s future appears in fine hands, as we discovered while prospecting for the Palm Springs Life 40 Under 40. This year’s selection of the best and brightest desert talent younger than 40 years includes a surgeon, a Project Runway contestant, a sportscaster, a DJ, a sommelier, an actress, a gemologist, culture and nonprofit leaders, wealth managers, entrepreneurs, a tourism pro, and myriad creative types. They converged on the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs for a well-deserved moment in the spotlight — actually, for several hours in the blazing heat of summer, but no one complained; they were bursting with the character and enthusiasm that earned them a place in this elite group. And they looked right at home at the Ace, chilling in the Amigo Room bar, King’s Highway restaurant, at the pool, and in other niches of this vibe-driven property. It was the perfect backdrop to fete this caffeine-charged group of overachievers.
