The Gardens on El Paseo recently welcomed luxury leather magnate Louis Vuitton. Adjacent to Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton carries not only their signature bags and luggage, but also a full line of accessories for both men and women, including fashion jewelry, sunglasses, textiles, and ties.

“We are excited to open our newest store at The Gardens on El Paseo,” expresses Daniel Lalonde, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton North America. “Louis Vuitton was founded on principles of tradition, heritage, and luxury; ideals that are inherent in the city of Palm Desert. The natural synergies between Louis Vuitton and El Paseo made this the perfect location to open our first store in the Palm Springs area.”

The new Louis Vuitton store offers a sweeping curved glass and stone façade — an engaging complement to the serene desert landscape. Displayed inside the store are distinctive men’s and women’s leather goods, as well as an exceptional product wall featuring women’s fashion show bags. Additionally, there is a center column presenting the latest sunglass designs and custom-made display cases showcasing small leather goods and accessories.

A worldwide leader in luxury since 1854, Louis Vuitton has become synonymous with the art of elegant travel. Its leather goods are renowned throughout the world for ultimate quality, craftsmanship, innovation and stylish luxury. From 1997, with the arrival of Marc Jacobs as artistic director, it has extended its range to women and men prêt-à-porter, shoes, watches and jewelry.
Louis Vuitton has an exclusive network of 445 wholly owned stores in 62 countries around the world. The El Paseo outlet is the sixteenth Louis Vuitton in Southern California and the 135th store in North America. The Gardens Louis Vuitton store is the only location where the brand is sold within 120 miles, with Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, and Costa Mesa as the nearest locations.

Louis Vuitton leather goods collections are produced in workshops located in France, Spain, and the United States. Luis Vuitton watches are exclusively crafted in Swiss timepiece workshops. Jewelry collections are created in France, Italy, and Switzerland, and sunglasses are manufactured in France and Italy. All Louis Vuitton workshops, regardless of their location, use only the finest materials to craft products that are globally recognized as examples of excellence and refinement.
