International Desert Flower Fragrance & Garden Show at The Shops on El Paseo in Palm Desert

The International Desert Flower, Fragrance and Garden Show will bloom once again at The Shops on El Paseo April 5 to 7. The event celebrates the natural beauty of the area and pays tribute to The Living Desert, which promotes education, preservation and appreciation of the world's deserts.

On Saturday, April 6th from 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday, April 7th from 12pm - 5pm, guests can enjoy an exclusive desert plant sale from Palo Verde Garden Center at The Living Desert combined with live entertainment, fashion presentaions, floral designs and demonstrations, orchid, cactus and succulent displays, green energy exhibits and expert speakers. In addition, Cos Bar on El Paseo will feature an exclusive fragrance designer each day, including Creed and Maison Francis Kurkdijan from Paris. Saturday and Sunday's events are free and open to the public.

An Opening Gala Celebration and Awards Ceremony, hosted by KNEWS' personality Bill Feingold, will be held on Friday, April 5th from 6pm – 8pm.  Honoress include Lily Garfield, founder of Cos Bar, fragrance designer Ramon Monegal of Barcelona and Renova Energy. Tickets are available for $50 per person and can be purchased online at http://desertflowerandgardenshow.eventbrite.com

Events will be held in the "Dome," a temporary 60-foot futuristic and modern inflatable architectural structure in the parking lot between Ocotillo and Monterey just south of El Paseo.
