A fine dining and swanky hangout in Los Angeles for years, Mastro’s Steakhouse announced it’s opening its newest location along Palm Desert’s El Paseo in November.

Mastro’s consistently wins the “Best Steakhouse” award across the country, famous for their prime hand-cut steaks, seasoned with a secret dry rub and served on sizzling 400-degree plates.

The menu also includes a selection of fresh seafood, including a three-tiered iced seafood tower appetizer.

They also offer an à la carte selection of the freshest in upscale seafood – the most popular of their steaks, Mastro’s bone-in filet, served alongside carefully crafted, family-style lobster mashed potatoes, and, to finish it off, their house specialty one-of-a-kind warm butter cake for dessert.

Also known for their eclectic cocktails, Mastro’s offers an extensive menu featuring both the classics and newest in drink trends.  The Oaxacan monk is a tequila cocktail with St. Germain that draws a big trendy crowd.

Cocktails and steak drew such a following, their flagship location in Beverly Hills recently opened a penthouse location, decked out in white and gold with open windows – a stark sight from the low-light ambiance of downstairs.

"The M Bar at the center of the restaurant will boast live entertainment nightly, a grand back bar bottle display and offer the full à la carte menu,” said General Manager Patrick Barrett. “(We are) excited to add 150 jobs to the area, and we are eager to welcome patrons with world-class service and exceed expectations to ensure they are guests for life."

Their award-winning wine list features a selection of over 500 wines from around the world, with over 50 available by the glass.

The grand opening at the Palm Desert location, which will be at the corner of El Paseo and Lupine Lane, is slated for Nov. 2.  Call 760-776-6777 for reservations, or visit their website by clicking here.
