Portion of restaurant's art collection sales goes to charity

Artistic expression is not limited to just the food at TRIO Palm Springs.

The restaurant appeals to the senses and emotions of its patrons with vibrant splashes of color, creative lighting and an amazing art collection.

The artwork displayed throughout the restaurant is part of the Trio Art Program developed to help give back to the community and enrich the patrons and artists, alike.

The artwork, which rotates every three months, is for sale with 10 percent of the selling price donated to charities – The Art Institute of Palm Springs and The AIDS Assistance Program of Palm Springs.

TRIO Palm Springs owners Tony Marchese and Chef Mark VanLaanen take an artistic approach to each and every dish served. They believe food presentation is equally as important as the taste. Diners will revel in the new weekly specials and the popular menu standards.

TRIO Restaurant is open for lunch weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The cocktail hour extends from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the bar and patio with $3 well drinks.

Dinner starts at 3 p.m. every day and offers a $19, 3-course prix fixe menu available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

TRIO also delivers and offers pick-up.
