Growing up in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, Heller never thought that the modernistic world that surrounded his community would one day become his greatest source of inspiration. Nor did he think the mid-1950s culture would serve as the perfect backdrop to his signature modernist art.

In Heller’s latest modernist art collection, he captures the lesser known midcentury modern buildings of Palm Springs, those which he felt, “Needed some extra love and attention.”

A special viewing on how this modernist artist transforms the Palm Springs lifestyle, culture, and architecture into his own modern works of art can be viewed at both the Palm Springs Fine Arts Fair and the Modernism Show and Sale.
