The Seventh Annual Above & Beyond Awards benefiting Angel Light Academy honors individuals nominated as “Angels on Earth” from the community. The criteria include service, leadership, and charitable works.

Angel Light Academy operates a Leadership Training Institute, whose mission is to improve the health, happiness and well-being of individuals through the practice and demonstration of unconditional love. This is accomplished through service, education, and research.

Attendees were shuttled to the new Pavilion located at the back of the resort. Teens in the Leadership Institute greeted each shuttle personally, and escorted arrivals to the check in table. Appetizers and wine and champagne were passed before the formal dinner and program began. Event sponsors were Nothing Bundt Cakes, Chandi Group USA, Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, and Randall Miller, FICF.

Founder Julia Wilmot’s husband General Richard Wilmot received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of service.
