The ties between Canada and Palm Springs just grew stronger.

Air Canada rouge will introduce new seasonal non-stop service between Vancouver and Palm Springs International Airport beginning Dec. 18.

Flights will operate three times weekly until April 15, 2015, on an Airbus A319 and have been timed to connect conveniently from Air Canada’s Vancouver hub to and from the extensive Western Canada network.

The flights will include three customer-comfort options: rouge, rouge
Plus with preferred seating offering additional legroom, and premium rouge with additional personal space and enhanced service.

“We are pleased to add Palm Springs to our route network of winter holiday choices,” said Benjamin Smith, executive vice president of Air Canada and chief commercial officer. “Offering world class golf, tennis, arts, culture, entertainment and shopping, Palm Springs joins Las Vegas and Phoenix as three of the top U.S. leisure desert playgrounds served by Air Canada rouge this winter.”

To promote the new route, Air Canada offers savings of 20 percent on bookings made before Aug. 7 by using the promotion code “Palm20.”
