Site Staff Attractions

Spend the evening on May 5 helping animals by sampling premium beer and wine, all while soaking in the sunset over the fabulous vistas at The Living Desert Zoo & Botanical Garden in Palm Desert. Billed as “Saving Wildlife One Beer at a Time,” the annual Brew at the Zoo is one of the region’s most popular beer festivals. Go casual and comfortable as you nosh on appetizers, rock out with more than 1,500 fellow guests at three live music stages, visit 35 vendors, and watch home-brew demonstrations or enjoy non-alcoholic beverages. VIP ticket holders can enjoy a jazz combo and some face time with fellow VIPs — The Living Desert’s animal residents. Stop by the hangover prevention tent before the night ends. Proceeds help The Living Desert care for more than 500 animals and provide scholarship programs for visiting school children. The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. 47900 Portola Ave., Palm Desert. Parking is free. Call 760-346-5694, ext. 2121, or visit www.livingdesert.org for tickets and more information.
