\n Gung-ho Col. Mike Kirby (John Wayne) is le
ading his Green Berets on a mission to kidnap an enemy general during the
Vietnam War. When a skeptical reporter accompanies them\, the colonel and
his team outline their reasons for participating in the war. Wayne codirec
ted this action-packed\, hawkish film\, which was surprisingly successful
at the box office. The macho cast includes David Janssen and Aldo Ray.

\n John Wayne stars as the
eldest of four Elder brothers who reunite in Texas to bury their mother an
d investigate the death of their father. But a meddling sheriff and a riva
l gang have other plans for the Elder brothers\, and soon the air is thick
with lead. Director Henry Hathaway'\;s gripping Western also stars Dea
n Martin\, Michael Anderson Jr. and Earl Holliman\, with Dennis Hopper as
the villainous Dave Hastings.
