\n Is yoga on your list of New Year resolutions for 2013?

\n Simeon Den\, a certified \; yoga instructor\, an interdisciplina ry artist and educator\, and author of &ldquo\;8 meditations on Urban Life \,&rdquo\; will be teaching \; yoga classes at The Dance Program\, 687 27 Hwy 111 in Cathedral City\, on Tuesdays\, Fridays\, and Saturdays at 11 AM starting in January. \; The class is an integration of vinyassa flo w yoga\, qi energy work\, core training\, and guided meditations.

\n

Den has studied\, practiced\, and taught yoga and meditation for over for ty years and a recent magna cum laude graduate of UCLA&rsquo\;s Wolrd Arts and Culture Department\, where he studied with celebrated yoga guru\, Shi va Rea\; and graduate of \; the IQM Qi energy training\, an energetic healing protocol that combines the teachings of Shaolin Warrior Monks and quantum mechanics.

\n

\n He has been a professional dancer/educator f or over 40 years\; trained at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center\, perf ormed in concert dance companies and Broadway shows in New York\, owned an d operated his own performing arts school in Honolulu\, and has guest taug ht at colleges including \; UCLA\, CalArts\, University of Massachuset ts\, and on faculty at AMDA in Los Angeles.

\n He regularly volunt eers conducting stress management seminars sponsored by The Life Group LA& nbsp\; for people recently diagnosed HIV+ and recently presented at the&nb sp\; POZ Weekend event in conjunction with The Desert AIDS Project.
