An artist’s career can properly be said to begin at birth. Richard MacDonald’s career as an artist spans 40 pivotal years: from the end of the last century and into the beginning of a new century. For the past 25 years Richard has devoted his energy and passion to the revival of Figurative Sculpture. Dawson Cole Gallery in Palm Desert held a unique event celebrating Richard McDonald’s first 25 years as a sculptor. In addition to the presentation by Mr. McDonald, a ballet performance was held and the full gallery in attendance thrilled at the combination of arts that result in Mr. McDonald’s world renowned pieces.
