Eileen Fisher’s commitment to supporting women leaders striving to make a difference has led to a special event Sept. 21 at its shop at The Garden on El Paseo in Palm Desert.
In conjunction with the unveiling of its Fall Collections, 10 percent of proceeds from the event will benefit the Young Women Leaders program of the Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley (WLF). Eileen Fisher has been a WLF sponsor for the past three years.
The Fall Collection will be on display from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. featuring exclusive cashmere pieces in limited edition styles. Customers will receive $25 off any purchase during the event.
Customers can shop and mingle with WLF Board members from 3-5 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
WLF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through the awarding of college scholarships; hosting a leadership conference to help women advance professionally; providing training on financial independence through the annual Wall Street Teens workshop, and mentoring young leaders through its Young Women Ambassadors program.
WLF’s outreach extends beyond the Coachella Valley with microbanks established in Mexico and Guatemala to financially assist women and their families.
