Brian Marki Fine Art and Framing welcomed renowned sculptor Christopher Georgesco to the gallery’s stable of artists during their first year anniversary event on Friday, June 19.
The celebration highlighted a successful first season with works from previous art shows including plein air, photography, abstract expressionism, Woodland art, and sculptures by Georgesco, whose stellar career spans some 40 years.
Georgesco’s impeccable sculpture and paintings can be found in the public collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; La Jolla Museum of contemporary Art; Palm Springs Art Museum, as well as universities and corporations around the world. His works are prized by art collectors in some of the finest modern homes within the desert communities, from La Quinta to Palm Springs.
Guests congratulated gallery owner Brian Marki and Georgesco on their new collaboration while enjoying libations and light catering.
