Almost five decades since the exciting designs that turned fashion on its side in the 1960s, today’s styles prove that the authentic ’60s looks are wonderfully appropriate in Palm Springs and the desert communities. In fact, spring ’08 is about clean, vivid color with “basic black” fading into the background. The silhouettes are more age-appropriate yet retain a fresh, youthful quality because of their brightness and texture. As in the ’60s, this season is about fun while staying elegant.
