Palm Desert Public Art Tours. Palm Desert is home to more than 150 sculptures and three alternating art tours: Palm Desert Public Library, Civic Center Park, and El Paseo Exhibition. These free tours are open to the public. The tours meet at 10 a.m. on the second Sat. of each month (except July and Aug.). Call for the meeting place of the month. Palm Springs Art Museum Guided Tours. Adult and children’s tours of permanent collections and changing exhibitions at 5 p.m. Thurs., 2 p.m. Sat.-Sun. 325-7186.
