It’s a very rewarding profession.” Jacobs, an Ohio State graduate moved to Rancho Mirage with her family from Cleveland in 1978. While working for a fabric and carpet service firm, she fell in love with the textures and colors of the desert interiors. With the forecasted local growth, she saw a need for a gallery that would offer a wide selection of décor arts in addition to custom framing services. Art Works opened in 1986, and today, Jacobs caters to an array of loyal retail customers, designers, artists, and gallery owners who value her artistic eye, creative input and quality of work.
