Sports luminary Art Spander, on duty providing website coverage of the BNP Paribas Open for Palm Springs Life this week, gives fans an insiders look one of the most its compelling stories — the return of both Serena and Venus Williams to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Both sister have not competed at BNP Paribas together since 2001. Serena returned last year, and Venus followed suit this year. Spander comments on their return and what it means to the tournament.

Bill Dwyre, a former sports columnist for the Los Angeles Times, will take over BNP coverage for Palm Springs Life starting March 14 through the crowning of a women's and men's singles champions.
